REMINDER: Kitsap Transit Tracker App will stop working after Dec. 31

Kitsap Transit's DoubleMap app, which shows customers the real-time location of our buses and ferries, will stop working after Dec. 31, 2024. Starting Jan. 1, 2025, bus and ferry riders who use the app may not see any of Kitsap Transit's vehicles displayed on the desktop or mobile sites. 

Kitsap Transit has been working with a vendor for more than 18 months on hardware and software upgrades to improve our capabilities for managing our transit network, including real-time vehicle locations. 

The new system will produce a real-time data feed that complies with the Google Transit Feed Specification (GTFS), which will allow customers to track their bus in real-time on a website, in Google Maps and other apps that consume a GTFS real-time feed. We are working to launch a new real-time bus location map in the first quarter of 2025.
