Quarterly Community Meetings

Kitsap Transit's Executive Director hosts these meetings online (via Zoom) each quarter on a Saturday, with sessions offered at 9:00 AM, 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM. At each meeting, Kitsap Transit presents information about the state of the agency's services, capital projects and other topics of interest to the community. The public is encouraged to attend and ask questions. Links to attend virtually will be posted at least a week before the meeting date.

Attendance details are posted two weeks before the start of the meeting.

Public Hearings

The Kitsap Transit Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing for the Seattle Fast Ferry Terminal Project on July 15, 2025, at 8:30 AM or as soon thereafter as possible.  Public meetings are currently facilitated virtually through hybrid meeting options, including both in-person and Zoom Webinar opportunities.  Information and attendance instructions will be posted with the July 15, 2025, Board of Commissioners Meeting Agenda and will be available on our Transit Board landing page. 

A public comment period will be established before the hearing. Once the comment period is confirmed, details including the opening and closing dates will be posted on Kitsap Transit’s website and made available through all standard communication channels.

Written testimony, including email, must be received by 4:00 PM on the Monday prior to the hearing date (July 14, 2025) to be considered during the public hearing. Comments may be submitted to:

Kitsap Transit is also hosting several public meetings as part of the environmental review’s scoping phase. These meetings are key opportunities for community input.

Board of Commissioners Meetings

Community Advisory Committee Meetings

Kitsap Transit's Community Advisory Committee is made up of members of the public who give input to our Transit Board on Kitsap Transit plans and programs. The Community Advisory Committee meets on the last Thursday of every month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
