Finest Out for Repair Until Further Notice

Kitsap Transit has taken the 240-passenger Finest out of service until further notice for repairs.

The 172-passenger Melissa Ann will operate the Kingston/Seattle fast-ferry service. Based on recent ridership trends, Kitsap Transit anticipates the vessel will reach capacity on the 5:05 PM departure from Seattle and may reach capacity on the 7:05 AM departure from Kingston.

If the Melissa Ann reaches capacity on the 7:05 AM departure from Kingston, Kitsap Transit will have a bus ready to transport riders to Bainbridge Ferry Terminal.

If the Melissa Ann reaches capacity on the 5:05 PM Seattle departure, Kitsap Transit fast-ferry customers may consider boarding the next fast-ferry sailing at 6:45 PM.

Alternatively, fast-ferry customers may consider taking Washington State Ferries (WSF), which offers a 5:45 PM Seattle sailing to Bainbridge Island. Fast-ferry passholders can obtain a WSF ticket from a Marine Services Ambassador.

From Bainbridge ferry terminal, customers can board a Route 91 bus that drops off at Suquamish Park & Ride, George’s Corner Park & Ride and Washington & E. 1st Street in Kingston at approximately 7:04 PM.

If you normally travel on Kingston Ride Fast Ferry Commuter, please let the bus driver know.

Customers who need to reach West Kingston Road or Bayside Community Church Park & Ride should take the Kingston Fast Ferry because the #91 bus does not travel there. Route 302 serves the Bayside Community Park & Ride.

Thank you for your understanding. We apologize for any inconvenience.
